Update on my weight loss!!!!

Prior to my trip to Seoul, I was really scared that I would gain all the fats that I've lost. A typical meal is about 900kcal so imagine that><

Anyway, I was totally not used to the food the first 2 weeks I was there. I love Korean food, but not the amount of carbs and oil in it. Not joking when I say I had the runs after every meal. So I tried to buy salad for dinner when I can, drank lots of water, and avoided sweetened drinks as much as possible. I could go for a run, but I was too lazy hehe. So the best I could do was to control my food intake.

When I was back in Singapore, I was kinda reluctant to step onto the weighing machine that very night. After I mustered all my courage to get on it, all I hoped for was to see the same number I did the last time I weighed myself.

Was really shocked when I saw that I lost weight. Couldn't believe it. Kept weighing myself everyday to double confirm.

A picture I took a few days before I returned to Singapore. Think I look quite slim here hahahahaha oops. And was super convinced that it was just a good mirror because I couldn't possibly look like that if I gained weight.

Anyway, it has been a week since I returned, and my weight has been constant for the past few days. Which means, I've lost 4kg while I was in Seoul.

FUCKING 4KG!!!!!!!

No idea what happened seriously. Anyway, this is the slimmest I've gotten in 5 years. And I am now 7kg away from my goal weight. Woohooooooo!!

Gonna work on losing 'em 7kg of fats by December!

A week has passed since I started my diet, and I've lost 1kg so far. To be honest, it isn't that easy, with the random cravings I sometimes have, and the adults trying to feed you what they think is healthy. But I pulled through a week. A week of eating clean, and about 1 hour of workout a day!

My elder sister and I are doing this together, so I think that is why we are still motivated. I must say I am starting to feel a little lazy to workout everyday, but I know I have to push on. Even though my weight loss isn't as drastic as my sister's (& I feel quite demoralised because of this), I can see that my body is getting into a better shape. My tummy is significantly flatter now, and I can fit into shorts that I couldn't fit last year!

Some relatives have been asking for weight loss tips, and commented that I look so much better now. It's very motivating, and I hope to lose 4kg more by the end of the month.

Made a fitblr to 'save' all my fitspo - fatsofitspo.

MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNAL

I've been on a lot of fitspo/weight loss blogs recently, and am really motivated to lose weight! So I'm gonna start my very own weight loss journal too, hoping that by putting this public, I will not give up halfway.

Disclaimer first: I am not overweight, but definitely on the fatter side. My weight gain started after graduating from primary school, when I stopped dancing. My weight bounced 10kg by 10kg each year, and then slowed down when I graduated from secondary school. From age 16 to now (19), my weight has been about the same, +/- 5kg. It began dropping after I started working at the animal clinic, and I've lost about 5kg during this 2.5 months. I was happy; everyone's commenting that I look slimmer. But I stopped working, and began gaining a little bit of weight back (about 1kg).
When I was still working, my knees and ankles hurt a lot after work everyday. It was to the extent that I can't kneel, and have difficulties getting out of bed every morning. So I went to see a doctor, who mentioned that it's due to the fact that I hardly exercise, which resulted in my joints swelling up from all the work I do at the clinic. He also mentioned that even though I'm not overweight, it will be good if I lose some weight so that my joints will feel less pressurised. He recommended losing 3kg, but I gave myself a goal to lose 5. Simply because I know how I look after losing that 3kg, and think I will look better if I lose 5. It's still within the healthy range, so don't worry; I am not obsessed with skins and bones.

So the intro is done. I won't flood my blog with everyday posts on my weight loss journey. So I'm just going to update this post everyday, or once in 2-3 days (I labeled/tagged this under WLJ [click] so anyone interested can refer back). Feel free to join me/encourage me(hehehe) by leaving a comment!! I'm sure I will need some encouragements or advices somewhere down the road. ^^;;
