Before I blog about my last two days in Seoul, I realised I missed out the day I went to 가로수길(Garosu-gil). I don't know how it happened, because I really wanted to talk about Mug for Rabbit!!
But of course, not just about Mug for Rabbit ;)
So, one of the days after my sister joined me in Seoul, we went to Garosu-gil! We had actually made plans to come by every time we visited Korea but didn't make it until this time (3rd time). Boy, am I glad we finally made it here, lol. I love this place!!
Can I just take this chance to mention that I love Eight Seconds?? ^^ Check it out when you go to Korea!
It was a breezy evening, which I've learnt to appreciate because the summer heat was grilling me. We had dinner at........
Yup, 열봉찜닭 again!!! I really mean it when I say it's delicious. I've tried 봉추찜닭 before but I prefer 열봉^^
While strolling down Garosu-gil, I remember discussing with my sister how it would be a perfect place to be at if it were snowing. Probably because we both dislike the hot weather; being Singaporeans. There's just something about chilly weather and Korea that we really like hahaha.
Found Mug for Rabbit after awhile! I don't remember the exact direction but it's located just beside the street so it will be easy to find!
Pardon my head but here's the interior of Mug for Rabbit. Surprisingly small, for such a popular cafe. There were only 4 tables, if I am not mistaken. But it was very cosy, and I looooove cosy places!! :3
What I also like about cafes in Seoul - free wifi. Do not be shy or hesitate to ask for the cafe's wifi password! The staff are always (at least for my case) willing to let you know~ I remember an episode with my classmates where we talked about wifi being almost everywhere in Korea. And then right that instance, we saw a board outside a cafe which had "FREE WIFI" written on it. I think the other words were like "good coffee" or something along that line. Quite an interesting culture; that free wifi in cafes is something the customers are looking for, and if you have free wifi in your cafe, you better promote it!!
We were full from dinner still, so we only ordered a slice of carrot cake and a cup of hot caramel macchiato. Also partly because most of the cupcakes were sold out. 인기 참 많네요, Mug for Rabbit~ㅋㅋ
We didn't mind, of course. Mug for Rabbit is famous for their organic carrot cake, so we were glad we at least got to try it! The texture of the cake was soft, and it wasn't too sweet. Everything was just right. Oh gosh, I suck at describing food. It's good. Just go try it!! Not to mention the serving (1 slice) was huuuugggeeee. Definitely worth the price!
We headed home after completing our quest (to find MFR). Should have stayed longer but we were lazy pigs.
Anyway, remember the Asia on Air program that I blogged about? The one on winning a trip to Korea? Missed it? The organiser(BUZZ KOREA) is at it again! Blog and be invited to the 2012 BUZZ KOREA Awards! More exciting info coming up in my next post. In the mean time, check out the event page & pray that I'll be picked to attend! xx.
