SUMMER IN SEOUL: DAY 5

Day 3&4 here

Woke up late on Day 5 after 2 sleepless nights. Am slowing getting used to the hard bed and my really small pillow. So after waking up, I went to pay for my dorm fee at KLEC SNU!

Main gate of SNU! My dorm is up on a slope so I get my hiking exercise everyday. I knew SNU is a hilly place too, but I didn't know the KLEC building is soooo far uphill. (╥_╥) I only hope this helps to maintain my weight while I am here.

Anyway, pardon me but I really dislike Seoul's public transports. The buses are super small so there are already limited seats, yet like half of the seats are priority seats (reserved for old people, preggerz, mother & child, injured people)!! And the subway stations are extremely HOT. It is summer right now but they don't have any air conditioning in the stations!!! Most of the subway stations are underground so imagine the heat. I feel like I am walking into sauna rooms all the time, seriously. I don't know if the train cabins are air conditioned but I don't feel it most of the time. Maybe I am too spoiled by Singapore's public transport system - trains come every 3 minutes or so, and buses come every 10-20 minutes; majority of them are air conditioned. I also dislike the fact that most Koreans do not apologise if they bump into you, and neither do they say 'excuse me.' WHY??!?!?!!? <(`^´)>

Rants aside, I got my prepaid sim card done at Olleh Avenue(Gangnam) and returned my rented phone at the airport before meeting Sonia for dinner at 명동(Myeongdong).

Had Ginseng Chicken Soup! I am not a huge fan of ginseng to be honest, but this was good. The taste of ginseng wasn't that strong (though I realise then it defeats the purpose of eating ginseng chicken soup hahahaha). After eating and chatting, we walked around a bit.

Saw a queue outside SPAO and decided to ask what was going on! BEAST was going to have a fansign at a makeup store (opposite SPAO) the next day, so fans were queuing up.

Decided to try this fresh lemon juice with sprite drink. I liked it a lot!! There were also other stalls selling the orange juice version.

Think it was 10+pm when we left the place but it was still so crowded.

p/s: updated the directions to 카피카피룸룸(Capi Capi Loom Loom) aka Rilakkuma Cafe! Here.
