Thanks to the Good Friday public holiday, I finally had a much needed extra off day last week. Spent the afternoon exploring Tanjong Pagar with Mangay! We went to Littered with Books & The Pigeon Hole after our lunch at Icon Village's Sakae Sushi.

Littered with Books is like another Books Actually, but they also sell children's books! The shelves are categorised according to genres, and the store has 2 levels. Very nice place. Sadly, I only got a photo of its entrance because photography is forbidden in the shop.

The Pigeon Hole is just a minute's walk from Littered with Books. We settled down there after seeing all the shops closed due to the PH. A nice, cosy shop hidden behind the street of many korean food restaurants. Walls were decorated with photos of band performances, and shelves were filled with lots of old books (not sure if they are for sale). It was definitely the best place we could find to chill and talk; away from all the noise and crowd we'll hear and see in town.

Work is so tiring.......
