Pictures from my dinner with le sister, cousin and Jac the other day at Crystal Jade XLB Buffet! Steamboat is included in the buffet too. So it's basically free flow XLBs and steamboat food! There are two soup bases you can choose from, and I highly recommend getting just the pork soup (or whatever you call it). The 麻辣(spicy) soup base was horrrrrrriblllleeee. Very disappointing. I could only taste MSG, and the after taste was weird. The pork soup base was, on the other hand, really refreshing and delicious! Loved it!
Accompanied my dad to the hospital for his check-up, then went on a shopping spree with momsie and Charmaine! Also had lunch at Ding Tai Fung........which means more xlbs! I was, surprisingly, not sick of it. Hahahaha. Pictures taken by Charmaine, as usual. 'Cept for my outfit shot! My nails are at such a terrible state, I know. Oops.
My original plan was to hunt for a pair of black high-waisted jeans but...... Look, no jeans! Mom was choosing lots of knitted wear for her upcoming trips to China, and our Seoul trip (D-8 yo!!). I ended up buying that knitted outerwear too. My family has quite a lot of winter clothes; considering the fact that we live in this sunny, tiny red dot!
I've also started reading Pride and Prejudice. Taking a break from the Sherlock Holmes series. Personally prefer books to e-books but sometimes, under some circumstances, I have to resort to reading e-books : (
Anyhoooo, I am scheduled for an interview on Friday morning. Kinda excited to see what the company has to offer, and I hope the interview will be go well!
